Hua Hin Guide - Hotels and Accommodation
There are all manner of accommodation options available in Hua Hin from basic guesthouses to 5 star resorts. High season is from October to March and is it advisable to book in advance during this period as town can get very busy.
Five Star Resorts
Of the large hotel chains, Hilton and Sofitel are the most centrally located. The Marriot is just a kilometer south along the Petchasem Road. The Hyatt is a little further south on the road to Kao Takiap. The Ananantara is about 5 km’s North of town on the Petchkasem Road. All of the aforementioned hotels are five star resorts with good restaurants, direct access onto the beach and a full range of facilities and services. The huge Dusit Resort is a little way out of town towards Cha Am and is luxurious and grandiose. Putahracsa is a stylish well maintained boutique resort on the Naebkahart Road. Chiva-Som is one of the world’s best health resorts and is frequented by the rich and famous looking for a detox break, treatments and pampering.
Mid-priced hotels
For mid-priced options the City Beach (Damnoen Kasem Rd) and The Grand (Petchkasem Road) are good choices although neither is on the beach.
Guesthouses
There are plenty of guesthouses around town for those on a smaller budget, the quality and facilties varies so it is advisable to take a look around and choose one that suits your needs. Ocean Breeze Bungalows in Kao Takiap offer comfortable bungalow accommodation within a short walk to the beach. Fulay Guesthouse is located on Naresdamri Road with rooms on a large pier on the seafront creating a pleasant experience as you wake to the waters lapping beneath the wooden floors. Top Marks and All Nations can be found on Poolsuk and Nresdamri Road respectively. Both have clean rooms and are popular choices for backpackers.
